Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II features a Battle Pass system which was added on November 16th, 2022 with the release of Season One. Progression and content acquired in the Battle Pass are shared with Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0. The Battle Pass system works differently than the previous games. Instead of progressing through a linear set of Tiers, Modern Warfare II features a map called Area of Operations divided into 20 Combat Sectors each containing 5 rewards requiring Battle Pass Tokens.
