which time control is used in official OTB tournaments? - Chess Forums

I wonder which time control is used in OTB tournaments to get titles. Is there just one standart timing for title matches? I saw fide page has 3 ratings for every licenced players.. how is the process? do you have to play all blitz rapid and std to get a fide rating? there are many rapids for example..
